Welcome provocateurs. Every October, on the second Saturday at dusk, our guests arrive at the designated venue that has been transformed into a dark and cavernous space to honor the season. A night of otherworldly performances featuring the wonders of the live art fusion, ethereal dance, experimental music, and of course the silent auction. We celebrate as the veil between the worlds is lifted. Wearing your most creative costumery, because the dress code is firmly infernal.

Proceeds from Cirque du Noir will support community 501 (c)(3) non-profit organizations like our past recipients The Sprinkler Factory, The Creative Hub Worcester and The Worcester County Food Bank. We have celebrated together for over 12 years and have raised over $30,000 for these non-profits. We have seen over 60 artists combine their skills in the art fusion. We have auctioned over 600 pieces of donated artwork. We have heard music from bands like Esthema, Pistol Whipped, Ryan Flaherty, Goli, Jaggery, Dan Burke, Nikki Luperelli, Walter Sickert and The Army of Broken Toys and Vapors of Morphine. We have seen local PZ dancers emerge from the darkness doing ballet to Trent Reznor, AC/DC and Lorde. We have been body painted by world renowned body painter Magdalena O’Connor.

It is a night to let your imagination run wild. If you enjoy dressing to kill, this is the evening to do so. Cirque du Noir attracts a decadent menagerie of aesthetes who gather together, in enthusiasm for the celebration. The imagination is unlimited, incorporating a myriad of inspirations and influences to celebrate the liberating effects of night, masquerade and immersive performance.

The event was inspired by an may annual house party and with so many friends that are artists, the wheels started spinning and Cirque du Noir was born in 2007. It is an annual Worcester nightlife sensation specializing in stylized local creative entertainment and experiential production concepts, inspiring similar across the globe.
